DOMINICA, THE NATURE ISLAND.

On this lush tropical island, eco-tourists are promised adventures that can't be found anywhere else in the Caribbean. It's all about exploring the outdoors, so eco-adventurers, gear up! Hikers can explore over 300 miles of trails along rugged terrain. They can also explore entire ecosystems with an overwhelming variety of flora and fauna, including 175 bird species. Trails on Dominica are a true nature lover’s dream. Breathtaking vistas, waterfalls, rushing streams, and volcanic wonders await hikers of every skill level.

No visit to the island is complete until you've visited the Morne Trois Pitons National Park and its waterfalls.  Trafalgar Falls is just a short 5-minute walk from the Visitor Centre where two majestic waterfalls await. Middleham Falls is a 90-minute walk into the heart of the rainforest where you'll find the waterfall dropping approximately 80 m from a keyhole notch in the cliff. The beautiful Emerald Pool, which earned its name from the moss which resides at the bottom of pool, reflecting its emerald colour, is a lovely little waterfall in a cavern 15 minutes into the rainforest.  Other smaller waterfalls you can visit are Victoria Falls,  Sari Sari Falls, Penrice “Spanny” FallsJaco Falls and Ravine Cyrique Waterfall.  Then, after a long day of hiking,  visitors can indulge in  a yoga class in the rainforest, a massage, or relax in a natural sulphur hot pool or mud bath.

Dominica offers a range of activities:
